This week we are reading Monkey Puzzle. We will be writing our own riddles about animals and getting each other to guess which animal we are writing about.

We all enjoyed looking at the sparkly rain this morning. Everyone focused and looked carefully.

We are so proud of our own oi stories we have created. We have been inspired by reading Oi Frog and Oi Dog and used the same template as those stories. Have a look at some of our sentences.

We are enjoying this story this week. Enjoy at home. We will be thinking about how the owls felt and writing speech bubbles.

We have been thinking about how to pay compliments to each other this week. It has really made us all feel good about ourselves. We have used sentence starters and picture prompts to help us. Here are some examples of the compliments we have been making.

This week we are thinking how we are all different and unique. We can all do different things, some things we are good at and somethings are not so good at. We are learning about the power of ‘yet’ and having a positive mindset. We may not be able to do something YET!! But with practice we can do it.

Kindness is our focus as part of anti bullying week. We will be passing on kind messages to each other and celebrating the different things that we are good at.
