Yesterday we created poppies using drippy paint. We made a poppy shape and then printed our pictures.

Today we have been thinking how we would feel if we were one of the animals that had to sit on these funny objects. Some of the animals sit on some very funny objects. A whale sits on some nails- ouch!! A Leopard sits on a Shepard – poor Shepard!! A dog sits on a frog – the poor frog!! I think we would feel a bit grumpy if we had to sit on some of these things!

We talked about it and matched the emotions to how the characters were feeling. We looked carefully at their faces to help us.

This member of Copper Base is a fantastic yo-yoer. He showed us all how to use a yo-yo at school.

We had such fun enjoying Oi Frog last week. This week we are reading Oi Dog. Just as much fun!! Enjoy it at home with your families.

We have had a lovely day thinking about bonfire night and fireworks. Look at some of our amazing firework pictures we have made today.

We are learning all about animals this half term and out new book is ‘Oi Frog’. This was a very funny book. We enjoyed listening to it this morning.
