We have all been busy this week with different maths activities. Some of us have been learning how to halve a quantity and some of us have been counting in tens and ordering numbers. It has been great fun.

This member of Copper Base has been very busy at home planting and growing a beautiful sunflower. What a great job you have done at keeping it healthy and giving it all the things it needs to grow. Well done.

Our story this week is ‘Jasper’s Beanstalk’. We are really enjoying the story. Today we planted our own beans. I wonder how tall they will grow.

Welcome back everyone. Here is the first story of this half term. It is all about growing!!

Well done for working so hard this term. Have a wonderful Easter break and enjoy eating all those Easter eggs and spending time with your families.

Next term we will be listening to stories about growing. We will be enjoying re-telling these stories, writing some facts and planting our own seeds to grow.

We had lots of fun yesterday making chocolate Easter nests, decorating eggs and going on an egg hunt.

We had fun experimenting with making our voices very loud with this really long tube today. We counted down and then someone spoke into the tube. It was great fun! Everybody laughed.
