We re-told the story with our own peas today. We had peas jumping, rolling, hiding and flying around the classroom. We had a great time singing this song as well.

This week we are going on a journey with a runaway pea – what will he get up to?

We have been investigating lots of different numbers. We have been partitioning numbers, counting objects and playing number games to help us.

We have found out about lots of foods that are lots of different colours this week – orange, green, purple, yellow and red!! So many different foods in so many different colours. We have been sorting and talking and listening to a story all about all the different foods you can get.

Which food will you choose?

We have had a lovely week – we have welcomed new members of the Base, worked hard on our numbers and written some lovely menus to kick start our theme all about food.

Our topic for this half term is stories all about food. We will start off this week with a book all about different fruits and vegetables – yes there is a fruit that begins with X!! Let’s find out….
