We visited the new school! The Copper Base s so big, it is going to be great! We looked round the whole school and had a play in the courtyard playground!

Fantastic Fractions
We have been learning how to find a fraction of a quantity! Next week we are going to work out the fraction of a length of ribbon using what we have learnt this week!
Jigsaw
Today, in our Jigsaw time, we talked about medicine and when we need it. We learnt that it is only safe to have medicine if a trusted adult gives it to you.
Amazing mathematicians!
We have been working on our division skills this week. It has been tricky but we have kept on trying. We have been using bead strings to help us chunk up the numbers and find the answers to our division problems!

Coffee Morning
Thank you to all who attended our coffee morning this week. The children enjoyed preparing your drinks and sharing their cakes and biscuits they had made.
Book Fair
We visited the book fair today. We enjoyed looking at all the books and spending our book token on a book to take home. We chose some books for the base as well.
World Book Day
We love wearing our glasses and reading great books!
