The year 4 Copper Base children have tried the climbing wall to week! Some of us were a bit worried but we overcame our fears and had a go! Well done everyone!

We had a great time at the Festival at DMS.

We played table cricket and seated volley ball, and more!

Some of us have been learning to add using a number line in lots of different ways this week.  We will be using lego next! 

We have been using the numicon and the column method to help us add two digit numbers!  

We visited the garden centre to look at plants and herbs for our garden.  We met with Steve who showed us around.  He talked to us about what would be good plants to plant and how to plant them.  We were allowed to choose some seed packs to take back to school.  We have lots to plant and can’t wait to get digging.

Lucy form The Poundbury Garden Centre came to visit today.  She gave us some ideas for the best fruit and veg to plant and he,led us begin a garden plan.  We will be visiting the garden centre next week to choose some plants for our garden.

BINGO has helped us remember the teen numbers!
