We enjoyed the story about a little pea this week. We sequenced and re-told the story in groups and then created our own story about another vegetable. These will be shared on the blog when they are finished.

We are enjoying this story about another pea this week. This little pea enjoys lots of fun!!

We have been really enjoying re-telling the story of the Runaway pea this week. We had our own peas and we took them on a journey – they went squash, they went splash and they splat.

We re-told the story with our own peas today. We had peas jumping, rolling, hiding and flying around the classroom. We had a great time singing this song as well.

This week we are going on a journey with a runaway pea – what will he get up to?

We have been investigating lots of different numbers. We have been partitioning numbers, counting objects and playing number games to help us.

We have found out about lots of foods that are lots of different colours this week – orange, green, purple, yellow and red!! So many different foods in so many different colours. We have been sorting and talking and listening to a story all about all the different foods you can get.
