This weeks story is by the same author – Margaret Mayo. This time we are looking at different vehicles in space.

Some of us have been working on comparing amounts this week. We have been using different objects and resources to compare different sets of numbers.

Some of us have been using the colourful semantics programme to create sentences about the book we have been reading. We have been using really interesting words like zooming, flashing, squashing and smoothing in our work.

We have been looking at the different vocabulary used in the book Dig, Dig, Digging. There are some really interesting words. We worked together today to match the vehicles to the interesting words describing what they do.

This week we are enjoying a great story about different vehicles and how they move.

This week we are learning about facts about different emergency vehicles. We will be making facts pages and posters about our favourite vehicles.
