We have been learning about different Traditional stories! We have read Goldilocks and the three bears, Little Red Riding Hood and The Three Little Pigs amongst lots of others. We have enjoyed re-telling and dressing up as the characters. We have particularly enjoyed making bean stalks as tall as us!

We have been enjoying lots of different activities this week in healthy week!

We have been enjoying learning about capacity and volume this week in maths. We have been experimenting with coloured water, making magic potions and filling up containers so they are full, half full or empty or nearly full and empty.

It has been great fun.

We have enjoyed learning about taking away this week with skittles. We have been counting how many are left after rolling the ball. It was great fun and we were all really good at it!

We have been looking at the story Rosie’s Walk as part of our farm topic. We have enjoyed mapping the story with props and playing in the farm sensory tray to help us remember the story.

We have been enjoying our outside area in the lovely sunshine this week!

We have been investigating number doubles this week. We have had great fun matching ladybird spots, printing butterfly patterns and playing dominos.

We have been talking about shapes this week. We have enjoyed sorting them, playing games with them and making dinosaur shape shape pictures.

We enjoyed a yummy biscuit, banana and a drink at the cafe in the school hall.
