The children have really enjoyed playing together and sharing with the toy cars and tubes, making ramps and tunnels!

We have been busy counting different objects this week!

We have enjoyed looking at the book Ten Black Dots!

We have been enjoying the new play equipment at lunchtimes!

Sam and Sam have been working really hard on writing some winters poems this week! They should be exceptionally proud of themselves as they have produced some excellent writing using lots of interesting vocabulary they have developed! Well done to both boys.

We have been learning about heavier and lighter this week. We have all enjoyed putting objects in the weighing scales and seeing how they move up and down! It has been great fun!

This week we have started to read The Jolly Christmas Postman. The Postman visits lots of fairytale characters houses, we have made picnic food for Little Red Riding Hood, ordered The Three Bears, coloured in a Gingerbread Man and decorated Humpty Dumpty eggs. We played Humpty Dumpty sat on the wall it was great fun, the eggs wobbled all over the place.

We have been learning about 2D and 3D shape and having fun thinking about people who help us!

We have been looking at the book ‘Emergency’. Yesterday we were lucky enough to sit on a real Doctor bike.
