Coffee Morning
Thank you to all who attended our coffee morning this week. The children enjoyed preparing your drinks and sharing their cakes and biscuits they had made.
Book Fair
We visited the book fair today. We enjoyed looking at all the books and spending our book token on a book to take home. We chose some books for the base as well.
World Book Day
We love wearing our glasses and reading great books!
Making planets
We have made planets using papier mache

Working together to design and make junk model rockets!
Characters
We have been using the iPads to create stories by recording our voices and using instruments and body percussion to create different sounds for different settings.
We have also enjoyed making characters out of plasticine. It has helped us bring our stories alive.
Science Day
We have all been scientists today! Finding out about being an astronaut and what it is like in space. First we tasted some freeze dried astronaut food. We really liked the ice cream cookie! We were not so sure about the dried apple and banana!

and firing rockets!
Visit to The Crusty Cob
On Wednesday we went to the Crusty Cob Bakery. We had to take the right money with us so we had to make 24p from different coins.
When we got back we spread our rolls with butter and jam or marmite. Delicious!
Odd and Even Numbers
We have been using odd and Even numbers to solve problems this week. We have been investigating number sequences and whether they end with an odd or even number and sorting lots of different numbers into groups. We have used numicon to help us find out.
