Hello September and welcome back to all the Copper Base children. We hope you have had a lovely summer break. We are really looking forward to getting stuck back into our learning and making fun memories at school.

Our story of the day is – Barry the Fish with Fingers.

Next week you will find out our new story theme for this half term an the story of the week, but until then let’s enjoy this story.

What fabulous end of the term we have had this year. We have enjoyed an ice-cream treat and lots of outdoor fun. We have also said goodbye to our year 4 members of Copper Base. We wish you luck in your new schools.

We hope you all have a lovely summer break and we will see back in school on Friday 1st September.

Some of the Base children visited Lulworth Cove with their classes. It was great fun!!

we have been working on some great maths. We have been learning time, pattern and money as well as improving our skills with counting.

This week we will listening to the story about a very busy spider.
