Enjoying stories
We have been enjoying listening to the stories of Slowly, Slowly said the Sloth and The Mixed Up Chameleon by Eric Carle. We have all contributed to a group story telling session in different ways. Some of us sorted the word and picture cards, some of us were in charge of sequencing the illustrations, some of us followed the story in the book and on the screen and others acted out the story. This was all done while Mrs Kenny read us the story. We all had a role and we were all engaged in the story.
Fun at Nothe Fort
This member of Copper Base has enjoyed a trip to Nothe Fort in half term. It looks like lots of fun.

Soft Ball Fun
We had a great time learning how to control a large cricket ball. We had to listen carefully and follow the instructions. It was great fun.
Slowly, said the Sloth
We have been listening really carefully to our story this week. Today we were vocabulary detectives and sequenced the story. We enjoyed reading the speech bubbles and matching them to the characters. You can talk about this story at home.
