We have been making posters this week all about whales. Out story The Snail and the Whale inspired us to find out all about humpback whales. We were fascinated that their heart weighs as heavy as a car!!!

We have all got really good at listening to and following a story in a book. Here are some of us listening very carefully to a story being read to us and following it in our own books.

This week in sensory club we made our own soft play dough and played a feely bag game.

This week we made bears with cake.

We had a lovely time this morning on our local walk around Poundbury. We all did really good listening, we waited at the crossing, we crossed the road sensibly and walked so beautifully. Well Done Copper Base children. Thank you for a lovely walk.

This week we enjoyed making musical instruments in sensory club.

This week we made caterpillar kebabs. We learnt to cut the fruit and thread it carefully onto the stick.

Jack took some lovely photos this weekend of the tanks that were visiting Dorset. He was thinking about different journeys you could make in these vehicles. Thank you for the photos Jack.
