Good Afternoon Copper Base,

Coming your way in the post will be some more activities that have been put together for you to enjoy at home. You may already know about this if we have spoken to you on the phone this week.

It includes, nature hunts, cooking and family games. Have a look through and pick and choose some you like. You do not need to do it all. It is designed for you to have fun and to fit in with your day at home.

Let’s have a think about shapes today….remember this video we enjoyed so much at school? Have a another look…

There are shapes all around us…in your garden and in your house. Can you spot any?

Have a go at making this handy ‘shape scan’ to find shapes around your house and garden. You can make it using a piece of plain paper, cut a hole in the middle and start hunting… it is as simple as that. Have a look at the example below.

You can draw the shapes you have made, count the corners and the sides. Draw a pictures using lots of different shapes. Enjoy.
